Für Wachstum und Wohlbefinden von riffbildenden Korallen ist ein ausreichendes Angebot von Strontium ähnlich bedeutend wie die Verfügbarkeit von Calcium und Magnesium. Zwar liegt im Meerwasser Strontium in erheblich geringeren Mengen vor, doch kann es trotzdem durch biologische Prozesse, Ausfällungen und Einbau in die Kalkskelette zu einem Strontiummangel kommen.

Anwendung & Dosierung
Add Tropic Marin^® Bio-Strontium directly on the surface of the aquarium or sump water, while stirring. Take care that no undissolved crystals come into contact with the creatures. One level measuring spoon (5 ml/0.17 fl.oz.) increases the strontium level of 100 l (26 US-gal.) by about 5 mg/l (ppm). The natural concentration of
seawater is 8 mg/l (ppm).


Basic dosage: 1 level measuring spoon per 50 US-gal./190 l every two weeks is recommended. In an aquarium with a high population, the dosage can be doubled.
